Sad Day

Last night was officially my last night here at TLU. It was difficult for me to fall asleep because I couldn't stop thinking about leaving my school and friends that I made this year. I spent a lot of time thinking about many of the good times and bad times that I had been through this year. I also thought about the new friends that I have made and the chances of spending time with them during the summer. Although I am excited for school and finals to be done, I am sad to leave a place that I often call home. I found it interesting that when I was packing my belongings to check out of my room, there was a story to every belonging that I had. For example, the signed baseball reminded me of the times that I would spend throwing the baseball with my neighbor. My microwave reminded me of the times when my room mate and my neighbors would meet in my room for late night snacks. Now that I think about it, I wish I would have taken more pictures so that I could remember the memories years later in my life.
