Ridiculous!!!

As everyone knows, the end of the school year is near. This is often a time of excitement but also seriousness. It is also the time when students are allowed to sell their school books back to TLU for some money of what they paid for. I was excited because I purchased a $90.00 calculus book, a $90.00 economics book, and a $10.00 English book. I was looking forward to getting at least half of my money back that I spent on these books. So I walked into the TLU Bookstore in a good mood with my books in my hand. I arrived at the desk and told the woman working that I would like to return my books for money. She agreed to help me and took a look at my books. She first looked at my calculus book. She then told me that the Bookstore had enough of that book and I was unable to get any money in return. I was a little disappointed but remained calm. She then looked at my economics book. She quickly saw the cover and immediately told me that TLU is using a new series of the book next year. She made it clear by telling me that the book had no value. I became a little upset but still remained calm. She finally looked at my English book. She typed on the computer for a few seconds, then explained to me that I would get $2 in return for the book. She then jokingly said, "you might as well just keep all of the books". I immediately became angry and left the Bookstore. The rest of my day was spent in a bad mood.

  1. I'm sorry about that. At least the English book wasn't too much to begin with.
